Your Support Impacts the Lives of Over 8,000 Community Members
Every day during the summer, two young children would visit the library to read books, talk to friends and librarians, and eat lunch. Their father was recently unemployed and the children were in need of food. The library was a safe place for them to spend time and provided daily lunch for all children who visited during lunch hours. In the fall, their mother approached one of the librarians to thank them for being there for her family during these challenging times. Her children had a safe place to learn and receive a healthy meal. Our neighborhood library is a great place to read, learn, meet, and care for one another.
A gentleman was homeless and visited the library to apply for jobs and services using our computers. He now has a job and a place to live thanks in part to having access to technology and free internet service. Our community library includes a large collection of books, media and technology to explore our world and better your life.
